Thankfully not too much damage done. She needed a haircut (also her first) anyway so she got to learn how permanent it is when one takes scissors to hair (this was, after all, her second hair cutting offense- see Kai's unfortunate bangs about a year back). There were many tears and she wanted to know if her hair would still be beautiful after I cut it. She went to school today with her new hair and everyone gushed about it. So no long term damage I suppose. I, on the other hand, shead many a tear over the loss of both kids locks.
